Where the land meets the sea, that is where the enchantment of Barbados is found. It is along the sea shore, that guests can choose their idea of magic, from lounging on the Pool Island, to swimming, to stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving and more, our resort offers every water sport imaginable!
Make a Splash at the Pool Island
Ideally situated in the centre of the marina, the Pool Island is the ideal place to soak in the sunshine in a lounge chair or take a leisurely swim in the pool. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a light lunch and sip on tropical cocktails from the Quarterdeck Bar & Pizzeria. From the Pool Island you can also catch the Water Taxi and adventure to other destinations along the Barbados Riviera - including taking a swim at sister property, Saint Peter's Bay's lagoon pool.
The clear turquoise waters on our door step are the perfect aquatic playground for a vast array of watersports. We offer complimentary paddleboards, kayaks and snorkeling gear, and our knowledgeable instructors are available to help you and your family get the very best out of your adventure together. Motorised watersports including waterskiing, wakeboarding, Big Mable and biscuit rides, wave runners, reef fishing and sailing are also offered at Port Ferdinand. Scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing, and other aquatic activities can also be arranged with local independent operators through our Concierge team.
Swimming and snorkeling with the turtles is a life-changing experience for every age. When planning your vacation itinerary, please ask about our turtle tour so we have you reserved for this unforgettable event.
Hop aboard our water taxi and enjoy views of our beautiful coastline as your travel in relaxed “island style” to and from nearby restaurants, beaches, shopping and UNNA Resorts. For your comfort while traveling, chilled water and sunblock are available. The water taxi runs each day from 10am to 4pm, and travels from Port Ferdinand to Saint Peter’s Bay with stops in between.
